Program information
The following elements will be part of the accelerator mentoring program:
Individual mentoring Through a matchmaking scheme, each participant will be matched with a mentor, a leader or expert in their area of need, and will receive one-on-one coaching and consultation for six months.
Tools for building capacity and specialized instruction to improve hard skills. According to her interests, requirements, and priorities, each participant will be required to finish 2 of the required courses and choose at least 2 of the optional ones. Interaction with world leaders and workshops. Participants will have access to knowledge-exchange sessions, peer learning, and networking with each other and with invited experts through combined workshop sessions with subject-matter experts, allowing for interactive moments. The IAFN will also offer advice and special courses on how to get funding, like those on creating business strategies and/or bankable ideas. These workshop sessions will be videotaped and made available in a password-protected specialized area of the FAO CONNECT Portal, which participants can access if they would like to refer to them later or in case they missed a session. There will be an opportunity for interaction with business mentors and executives after each workshop.
At the program’s conclusion, FAO and IAFN management will host a virtual graduation ceremony where participants will receive certificates of achievement.
