The Dalhousie University Entrance Scholarships are a Women in Technology Scholarship that not only gives financial assistance but also a platform for the support of the upcoming generation of female technologists.

Scholarship Information:
A sizable public research university with three campuses in Halifax, one in Bible Hill, and one for its medical school in Saint John, New Brunswick, Dalhousie University is located in Nova Scotia, Canada.
More than 4,000 courses and 200 degree programs are available via Dalhousie’s 13 undergraduate, graduate, and professional faculties.
The university is a part of the U15, a collection of prominent Canadian research institutions.
Requirements for scholarships:
Most scholarships will be given to people who:
have an overall average of 70%; detailed entrance standards are listed on the pages for each program.
have submitted an application to one of our bachelor’s programs in computer science or Applied Computer Science
Can show how a love of technology has had or will have an impact on your community, seen in its broadest sense.
Decide to be feminine
Applications for the award are accepted from both Canadian and international students.
Alumni of Techsploration or those who took part in the NCWiT Aspirations in Computing Awards are especially invited to submit an application.
Scholarship Length and Compensation
Those that are chosen will get:
$10,000 in scholarships ($5,000 for the first year of study and $5,000 for the second year, depending on grades)
Access to activities and chances for professional growth through the WeAreAllCS initiative and its partners
