Japan’s power rock band Lonesome_Blue released the full album Second To None in Japan on December 21. However, they will now step up to the next level by releasing the international edition via JPU Records that drops on February 24, with truly exceptional bonuses.
There are multiple options for the international editions from JPU Records, including shirts, video-on-demand, and an exclusive booklet with lyric translations and transliterations.
The full album is in particular an anticipated follow-up to their previous EP First Utterance, which we asked for more from back in 2022. Likewise, they must have heard us and answered with the new studio album of 10 rip-roaring tracks!
Indeed, the first song from the album, Face the Fear, tosses aside any doubts this all-girl group is taking it easy. They seamlessly blend a hybrid rock style with power chords and pop melodies.
Notably, on Body Rock, there is fast pace rapping by vocalist Nomura Maiko. Plus, pounding guitar riffs by Narumi on tracks such as Aurora. The whole album holds solid beats from the rhythm section, with Hirose Yuki on bass, and MIZUKI on drums.
