Scholarship Information:
We have two scholarships available for motivated students to do a Masters project on one of the following two subjects as part of the Australian Research Council-funded grant project, “Activating social connection to reduce loneliness in Australia”:
1. Digital inclusion and Social Connection: This project’s research will look at how various applications of digital technologies and place-based social connections interact.
2. Social Connection Measurement: This project’s research will concentrate on creating and evaluating social connection measurements.
You must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible for the scholarship:
a bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent degree) in a subject related to the research topic, with a final year average of at least 65%.
Digital media and communication, social work, psychology, public health, anthropology, and other related fields of study are pertinent.
