No separate scholarship application is necessary; all overseas applicants have already been automatically considered for the university-funded scholarships. The terms of the scholarship will be described in the Letter of Offer if students meet the eligibility requirements.

Many merit scholarships are being offered by the University of Western Sydney to international postgraduate students entering for the 2023–2024 academic year.
Students of all nationalities enrolling in any of the university’s approved postgraduate programs are eligible to apply for the University of Western Sydney International Postgraduate Scholarships 2023/2024.
Scholarship Requirements:
Candidates must:
being an international student who is not an Australian, New Zealander, or permanent Australian resident.
Satisfy the academic eligibility requirements for either of the multi-year scholarships in their most recent completed tertiary qualification recognized by Western Sydney University
satisfy all other admission requirements and accept their admission offer
begin a new program of study in 2023 for the first time if your status changes to one of these during the study period.
A candidate is ineligible if they:
possess Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or permanent residency in Australia
are visiting the university as an exchange or study abroad student
not start your studies during the session and year specified in their offer.
If you do not submit a fully completed application and/or acceptance, commencement cannot be postponed.
have been granted more than 80 credit points of advanced standing
(Note: In the event of 80 credit points of advanced standing, the scholarships will apply to the reduced duration of the program after the advanced standing has been applied and will not exceed the annual value of the scholarship in any one year of full-time study).
are applying to study a program located at Sydney City campus.
Scholarship Length and Compensation
Contribution to tuition expenses of $6,000 per year (up to a maximum two years)
All qualified candidates for the following postgraduate programs who satisfy the minimal academic standards will receive the benefit:

The value given will rely on the student’s past academic performance level:
Contribution to tuition expenses of $6,000 per year (up to 160 credit points or a maximum of two years) or
$3,000 per year (up to 160 credit points or a maximum two years)
Benefits will be applied to tuition costs for postgraduate programs that are pursued full-time and last no longer than two years.
The scholarship only covers a portion of the tuition fees; it does not pay for living expenses, housing, transportation, health insurance for international students, or other study-related expenses.
